Description
This contains the information regarding a service pack (Service Pack 1) for Macroscope ProcessUnifier 2.10.47.81. It corrects some minor situations as described below.
Please note that this service pack also applies the corrections introduced in previous updates.
Enhancements
Introduced in QuickPatches
- The publish monitoring keeps the last selected view.
- The ProcessUnifier application options are now available for content editors.
- Empty pages are not copied to the website.
- Allow "Show ASymbol" in all html page titles.
Introduced in Service Pack 1
- The new ProcessUnifier version number is 2.10.47.10201.
- Icons have been updated to easily identify each object type and their status.
- Users are now able to publish all domain pages in one action when accessing the "Tools\Publish all pages" menu.
- Users are now able to publish all languages in one action when checking the "All Languages" box in the publish dialog box.
- Users are now able to create each element of the structure using the "Manual Page" template. Meaning they will have the capacity to create document using their standards (ex: Creating a Method using a Manual Page template).
- Users will now be able to store pre-filled templates and to use them at will to create new pages. This is accessible using the "Tools\Manage Templates" menu.
- The "Copy with content" contextual menu is now available allowing users to duplicate existing structure objects with then textual content.
- Users are now able create "Linked" elements within the structure. These will create shortcuts to other page within all database domains. These links will show in their brother structure.
Fixes
Introduced in QuickPatches
- The history did not show all events, e.g., some file renames were not listed.
- When renaming a domain, the new name was not applied correctly in the site scripts files.
- An error message appeared in the status bar when checking a document in and when the whole process took less than 30 seconds.
- The application splash screen is sometimes too small for the picture in background.
- When the treeview's selected page is published, in some circumstances, the page did not refresh properly.
- With the "French" regional settings applied on the computer, checking a document in gives an error on certain dates.
- Malformed checked out document. Some xml tags were not properly closed and caused errors when opening it with Microsoft Infopath.
- The property box fields are now selectable when in floating mode.
- Updated java classes to correct a situation at publish time with the Technique and Path inserting links to non existing output pages.
- Updated Microsoft InfoPath forms to resolve connectivity situations when in SQL Authentication mode.
- Updated the ProcessUnifier to resolve publishing situations when in SQL Authentication mode.
- Updated publish process to allow publishing of techniques' outputs.
- Updated the ProcessUnifier to resolve a situation occurring while importing domains when in SQL Authentication mode.
- Corrected the batch files to manually register the InfoPath Forms.

- Renaming a structure element does not leave an empty box when the structure tree is scrolling.

Database upgrade
Export files
Please be aware that export files (mpz) created with prior versions of Macroscope ProcessUnifier will not be usable after this upgrade. Users will have to create new export files after installing the current service pack.
A workaround is to make sure all data within database is up to date before installing the service pack, install the service pack and recreate all exports files afterward.
