Macroscope RC Visio® Modeler Service Pack 2
The Macroscope team is pleased to announce the release of Service Pack 2 of the RC Visio® Modeler (RCM 2003). For those of you that have been sending us feedback on our RCM 2003 Visio Modeler, you will be pleased to know that we have incorporated most of your change requests as part of this upgrade.
The tool now allows you to:
- Change the size of an Initiative without keeping the aspect ratio (width/height).
- Retain the toolbar customization.
- Change the text orientation of a label for a Basic Contribution.
- Retain the values for RC document parameters, irrespective of any changes to the diagram.
- Create objects (i.e., Person, Role, Observation, Metric Definition, and Metric Score) from respective tabs of the RC components (i.e., Initiative, Outcome, and Assumption).

Split / Restore a Basic Contribution that connects two RC components.
In addition:
- The application now validates the length of the RCM file path while saving and loading the RCM file to avoid crashing.
- Created a complete example using the "RC Outcome Forecast" showing the results of this new feature. It is also documented in the User Guide.
- RCM 2003 setup application now requires a Macroscope CD Key validation. It is the same key used to install Macroscope 4.7.
- Audit Trail functionality provides a detailed report log of events performed by a user on RCM diagram.
